- Since opening a few years back, grinch has been one of the most popular wine bars in manchester. Being situated in the heart of the city centre means that at lunch time the clientele is a mix of shoppers, office workers and business types. In summer it boasts popular outside seating and if you time it just right to enjoy their great happy hour promotions (between 5 and 7pm every day!) you can sample one of their cocktails and have a pizza. Owned by the same people as the local Felicini pizzerias, Grinch is also a great venue for an early evening drink or a pre theatre meal, being situated round the corner from the royal exchange. You can also have a boogie in their downstairs bar.
