  • Not many people know about Bar fringe. It is a well kept secret at the top end of manchester’s northern quarter, maybe a little too far out for some to walk to during their nightly pub crawls. Like it’s sister bar, cask, the exterior tells you nothing of what you will find inside; a great range of fabulous imported beers and some real cask ale to boot. The music is provided by a very well stocked jukebox and there is both a pool table and a pinball machine. The regulars are a friendly bunch and the atmosphere is very, very relaxed. In the height of summer, why not head to the beer garden out the back and truly hide away from the crowds elsewhere in town.

great little place, very reasonably priced drinks, friendly bar staff, all kinds of crazy crap hanging from walls and ceilings to keep your peepers entertained, good dukebox and a little area out back for those sunny days. Has the feel of a well kept secret ….. oops!

hidden away at the end of the Northern Quarter is this little gem of a bar. Full of obscure beers from all around the world. Friendly bar staff, mix of clientele and a cool juke box.

  3. GREAT PUB , SOMETIMES SMELLS OF UNWASHED FANNY .
