  • One of manchesters small traditional pubs, the seven oaks is right in the heart of china town. The cream tiled exteria stands out in this back street, the interior is everything you would expect as well. This is a beer pub and as well as their regular draughts of boddies and tetley they have the occasional guest ale. Popular with the office workers from the nearby Mosley Steet, there is a welcoming atmosphere in here and the regulars are a friendly bunch.  If it gets too crowded in the small downstairs bar, then you may find room upstairs in their function room.
  • traditional pub
  • real ale

I tried out the Seven Oaks for the first time this weekend, it was nice, a traditional pub with a nice atmosphere, had on the football (a good point if your a fan, not so much if like me you aren’t).

I did think the prices were a little more expensive that you would usually expect, but it was nice to be able to have a sit down and chill away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy a real ale.
