  • A historic music venue, roadhouse has played host to some of the biggest bands around, and has been the greatest place to catch manchester acts for a great many years.  If you turn up on a night when there is no gig booked then you will be able to dance to the finest manchester tunes with their resident dj.  The venue itself, in a basement, is small and dark, loved by bands for the intimate atmosphere. All the greats have played here and it is the venue in manchester to catch future greats in their early stages or old indie legends making their comeback.
  • Live music (indie & rock)
  • disco (indie & rock)

although the entrance is rather foreboding, the venue itself is brilliant place to see live bands on a very intimate scale. i went on the night maps played and the atmosphere was very relaxed, full of people there for the music. the bar has starapramen on tap, which was very good. most of the time, starapramen is useless in this country so it was a v pleasant surprise.
