  • In 2005 this historic pub reopened after about 20 years of closure and what a welcome return it has made, nestled on the outskirts of the northern quarter. When a building is refurbished, much is often lost of the original, not so here, the fabulous gothic style ceiling remain and the rest of the décor surrounds the drinker in cosy countryside traditional pub warmth. The food is great with pub favourites on offer, including a daily roast (with all the trimmings).  The vast range of guest cask ales also make the Crown and Kettle a favourite for manchester’s best pub.
