- Squares (formally Square Bar and further back, Cube Bar) is located opposite the Great Northern Warehouse on the corner of Peter Street and Deansgate. Having been around since the area became popular it’s seen a great number of people pass through it’s doors. Offering drinks with some promotions and a large dance floor downstairs, clearly visible from the bar upstairs, it’s a good place to visit if you’re looking for good music, cheap drinks and a non-pretentious night out. You’ll usually find a selection of different types of people in here and it is a good place to start if you’re looking to tour round the area.

Manchester Bar Reviews 
We spent the remainder of the night here on the 3rd March 2007, excellent bar, excellent music, the only downside was being told off for going on the stage but apart from that, it was great.
Both floors were packed, I will defo come back here again if I get refused entry into Brannigans again.
