Aqua – Albion Wharf, Albion Street, Manchester, M1 5LN map
- Aqua is just around the corner from Deansgate Locks and a stone’s throw from the Bridgewater Hall. It’s a small basement club with a great laid back atmosphere, cheesy music, welcome drink prices, and comfortable sofas overlooking the canal. Having recently undergone refurbishment, there’s a nice sized dance floor to boogie on and it’s a whole world away from the more pretentious venues across the road at Deansgate Locks. Previously known as Ned Kelly’s and Cheerleaders when the Hacienda stood proudly next door, Aqua still remains popular as people take advantage of its early bird drink offers and late night license.
- Disco (pop tunes and indie classics)
