I went to Proof last night and was really impressed. I go out in Chorlton a lot and came across this place almost by accident. The cocktails were superb; there is often very little imagination when it comes to such drinks and I was genuinely keen to try all of them.
It was hard to choose, but the ‘Current Affair’ was beautiful.
May I also point out that the bar staff were fantastic: friendly, relaxed and helpful. They were clearly experts – especially compared to some bar staff in Chorlton, who have been known to be unaware that they even had a cocktail list(!)
I recommend this place highly – I’ll be going again, just to try the other half of the drinks menu.
