Bier Keller - Manchester Bier Keller, 77 Piccadilly, Manchester, M1 2BU map
- One of the few places in manchester that encourages you to stand on your chairs, manchester bier Keller (or ‘The Beer Keller’ as the sign outside says) is a great place for parties and large groups. Part of a small chain of clubs offering traditional style Oompah nights, the music is stereotypically German and the beer comes in very, very large pots – 2 litre Steins to be precise. Bier Keller now also offer gig nights on selected fridays and the venue is sometimes used in the day for pole dancing lessons!
- Oompah brass band music
- Live Music (indie, rock & electronica)
- Nightclub (cheesy pop & party music)

funnily enough this review appears to have been published 3 days after the manchester bierkeller closed down!
Yeah it`s a shame it closed. I made my first visit there in 1968, about june or july I think. It always had a great atmosphere and very expensive, but good potent beer. Much better than the Wood St. Keller and the short lived one on Oxford St.
