- Formally green bar, mcnally’s and the old steam brewery, scubar is three floors of student heaven. Next to Manchester Aquatic Centre, hence the name, upstairs boasts two bar areas with big screen tvs and table football. there is a good selection at the bar including cocktails and drinks promotions with the occasional guest real ale. The basement is small and bare, but this is a good thing, as throughout the week it plays host to some of the best student club nights in manchester.
