- Simple, as simple says, is simple. The menu is graced with a mix of british classics and some more modern inventions. The bar is straightforward, although there’s a good selection of import beers and they have a great cocktail menu to boot. Surrounded by specialist record shops and close to Affleck’s Palace, the atmosphere is chilled and it is a great hang out to catch up with friends. The concept was so succesful they opened a second venue on Chapel Walks, called Simple In The City, which has since made way for a Mediterranean cocktail and tapas bar.

I went in here for the first time late on Sunday night, it’s a very laid back chilled bar, with big leather sofa’s to sink into and classic films being played over a projector ‘The Man With Two Brains’.
It was also playing lots of Ian Brown which was an added bonus!
went on sunday a few weeks ago , still thinking about that roast yum yum !!
Went to Simple for the first time on Saturday. Loved it – Fantastic bar, very New York style vibe & decor, friendly staff etc. Didn’t eat, but the menu & the food looks great.
NB. Only one bad point – the toilets! Very disappointing! I know it sounds daft but they really let Simple down – they are old and grotty and not that clean.
Just to let you know , toilets refurn underway will be all new and shiny by the 5th October !!
Me and a few friends went in on a sat night. Food was great (try the burgers there amazing!) great selection of cocktails. we all had a really good night. only problem was a little to busy.
came here for sunday lunch with the girls and we loved everything about it, starting from the friendly girl who took my phone reservation, to the waiter who catered to us we were impressed with the service and felt our custom was appreciated! tried to book again but its always full..but i guess thats a good thing eh?! im a vege and the food is lovely, tasty and really well priced!! well recommended!
