- Eden Bar is a straight friendly gay bar and restaurant in the gay Village offering light snacks and heartier meals during the day. Formerly Metz, you have to cross a bridge over the canal to get to it. Relax in their lounge bar, like the characters in Cold Feet were often filmed doing, or on the famous floating barge outside on the canal. DJ’s play a selection of cheesy pop, camp disco and classic club tunes at weekends and drink prices are amongst the cheapest on Canal Street.

Went to Eden last week had a great meal had the scallops to start and the beef stroganoff for my main course the food was excellent, the staff friendly and the atmosphere relaxed. I will be recommending Eden to all my friends and will definitely be coming back.
We had a lovely meal at Eden, very reasonable and beautifully presented. Staff very attentative and pleasant. Need to get some comfortable chairs though…!
