- South is a basement nightclub located on South King Street near Deansgate in Manchester. Originally opening it’s doors way back in 1995, South has become a Manchester institution for clubbers from all over the North West. This place is great for those that like dance music, rock and indie. Friday night see’s ‘The Rock + Roll Bar’ playing the best in Rock + Roll throughout the ages and Saturday see’s Madchester fave Clint Boon (Inspiral Carpets keyboard player) often take to the decks for some indie and dance classics.

For the last 8 years I LOVE the South Club.
Dave Haslam on a Friday it a cool night but the best for me is CLINT BOON ARMY on a Saturday with guest celeb DJ’s it’s like being someone’s basement having a private party.
It’s a top night with ya mates.
