‘5th Ave’ is probably the most famous indie club in Manchester and one of the most popular venues with students. So much so you should double-check with the bouncer’s it’s not a student-only night before joining the massive queues which tend to snake up Princess Street towards the Gay Village. They play a great range of indie music and classic rock with the odd sprinkling of dance and hip hop. Drinks here are also some of the cheapest around, with loads of amazing offers obviously aimed at those on a student loan. There is a charge on the door, but don’t forget to look out for a flyer for those discounts.
