  • 42nd Street is one of Manchester’s best loved indie music venues and the large queues outside reflect this.  Hidden down a backstreet, just off Deansgate and close to Peter Street, they have a very wide selection of music including retro 60’s and 70’s, 80’s, Madchester classics, Glam, Indie, Rock N Roll and Funk. There is a charge to get in the club, but keep an eye out for flyers for cheap entry, once inside the drinks are cheap and the people are usually friendly.  The venue was also once home to George Best’s legendary Slack Alice’s club.
  • Disco (indie and rock)
