The Tiger Lounge - 5 Cooper Street, Manchester, M2 2FW map
- Tiger Lounge started out as a club night for those people that wanted to get away from the mainstream nights offered by most Manchester venues. It moved around the city a lot before finally finding a home in this basement bar near St Peters Square (formerly occupied by Slice and in the 70′s, Oscars). During the week The Tiger Lounge is a meeting ground for friends, playing alternative, kitschy music – everything from 60′s French pop to country and western! They play classic and rare movies and also offer food during the day. They regularly have theme nights and live music, which, together with FAB Cafe and Satan’s Hollow (from the same people), makes this a truely wonderful contribution to Manchester’s nightlife.
