Opus OneOpus One - Radisson Edwardian Hotel, Free Trade Hall, Peter Street, Manchester, M2 3NQ  map

  • Opus One is the plush cocktail bar and restaurant inside the Radisson Edwardian Hotel, arguably the best 5 star hotel in Manchester.  Open to non-residents, access is via the hotel’s Peter Street entrance, it has an intimate relaxing feel to it and you can watch the world (and your money) pass by.  Despite it’s somewhat seedy dark red and black colour scheme, it’s known to be one of the best Manhatten-style Cocktail lounges around, also offering fine wines and food to match the hotel’s 5 star rating.

Great cocktails - not the quickest of service though and the bar staff aren’t the most friendliest you’ll find around. A little bit stuck-up but I suppose it is a bar for the hotel clients rather than randoms, although the general public is welcome.

Went to Opus One on Saturday night. The atmosphere was great and the cocktails were delish!!! I thoroughly recommend the frozen daiquiris. Slightly on the expensive side, but worth every penny!
