A place obviously visited by people who are watching a performance at the Bridgewater. However, if you go in during a performance (especially on a Sunday), you can have a drink in the bar whilst overhearing the classical music in the hall and watching it on a tv screen. Personally I like to pay and watch the show but if you fancy an afternoon coffee with a free performance (obviously the sound is muted a little due to the walls and doors between the orchestra and the cafe bar) then go to the Bridgewater and ‘wet your whistle’.
