• Arq is the latest bar on Manchester’s Deansgate Locks, located on the doomed spot vacated by the likes of Lock Bar (or Prada Society Cafe as they cheekily originally tried to name it), ‘The’ Bar, If Bar and Arch 9. They’ve tried a different approach to their predecessors, of which, let’s face it, only The Lock Bar got truely right (what a classy bar that was!). Friday, Saturday and Sunday sees the venue turned into a nightclub mixing chart hits, funky house and r’n'b over the 2 levels. ARQ IS CURRENTLY CLOSED!!!
