- Pesto is the new Italian tapas bar from the Manchester based La Tasca chain. Although more of a restaurant, it does boast a nice separate bar area with although the standard drinks offerings. Food wise, their main fare is Italian style tapas - basically think of all the standard Italian dishes and miniaturise them. Located on the junction of Deansgate and John Dalton Street (the road leading to the town hall), it makes an interesting stop if you’re on a bar crawl, moving from area to another.
